Chad’s real estate story started back in 1999, when he bought his first home and discovered just how exciting—and unique—the Sioux Falls market truly is. That first purchase sparked a passion for housing that grew into years of buying, renovating, and reselling homes.

Before stepping fully into real estate, Chad built a thriving career in graphic and web design. Fresh out of Southeast Technical Institute during the early 2000s tech boom, he launched Lavaflow Interactive—a firm that quickly took off. Soon, Chad was designing and managing websites for the Sioux Falls Stampede, Canaries Baseball, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, and several other regional teams. His creativity expanded into branding, logo design, and print marketing, giving him a strong eye for detail and presentation.

Those same creative skills eventually blended into his love for real estate. Chad began designing new homes and collaborating with builders across the Sioux Empire, helping shape new-construction projects from concept to completion. As his involvement in the housing world deepened, it became clear that real estate was where all his strengths came together.

After many years of assisting Kim Petit with marketing and advertising, Chad made the leap to become a full-time agent. With experience on both sides of the closing table—and a deep understanding of the local market—he stepped into the role with confidence.
